Tom_I

It looks like a Wanderer to me.

No problems with your eyesight, sir. It is a Wanderer. Locked for you to find the missing bits.

Tom_I

I'm afraid that these cars are a bit of a mystery to me. I'll have one not-very-educated guess, but then please open it up, as there will be others far more familiar with these cars than I am.

So how about a Wanderer W22 of about 1935, with bodywork by Gläser of Dresden?

Wendax

Not bad for a "not-very-educated guess"! It is a Wanderer W22. The year and the coachbuilder are wrong though.
But I give you one more try before I open it up.

Tom_I

How about 1933 for the year? I really don't know about the coachbuilder - I'll try Reutter, but I suspect it will be something more obscure...

Wendax

Not Reutter. I'll look up the year tonight.

Open for all.

Wanderer W22 Roadster by Wendler 1933?

Otto Puzzell

I've found another picture of a very similar Wanderer W-22, but, alas, no coachbuilder info. Maybe this will help somebody else along.

1933 is correct

It's not only similar, but the same model and coachwork. Some details on this picture might lead you to its original purpose which was far from serving as a romantic setting.

Hmm....still a few possibilities yet.
Sindelfingen?

Wendax

No, the coachbuilder built quite a lot bodies for Auto Union
