Needs minor paintwork.

For one point, please respond and identify this vehicle and who designed it.

Could it be USSR? That front section is clearly of very thick steel indeed, so the vehicle must surely have had something heavy to push (or to be fitted to it).

The scary thing is that there appears to be another one of its species behind it.  What would happen if they were to mate and produce offspring?  Something like this?

I was thinking it may be a Powell as well Ray. I think they had Chry family running gear.

It's not a Powell.

I was only trying to make a joke about the Powell.  They were mostly based on 1940/41 Plymouth sedans...with a few exceptions that were Chrysler-based.  The 201 cid flathead I6 certainly wouldn't have been enough to function as an airport tug...unless it was geared down so far that it was virtually immobile.

I guess it wasn't much of a joke.

It has a certain Brooks Stevens look about it, like some of his work for South American countries.

Getting Warmer or Colder?

Not Brooke Stevens, not South American.
So I think the correct answer to your question should be "Colder".

If there's one thing we've learned here on Autopuzzles, it's never to assume anything. This vehicle looks to be from the military.  Is it?

Yes, that's the one. One point for you.

It was equipped with a Hispano-Suiza diesel engine.

Sinpar: "Phillipe, we don't care what it looks like, just get the design done fast!"

Phillipe: "Very well. You shall 'av the design this evening."
