1909 Spyker 15-22 Landaulette by Rothschild?
Altena c.1905?
It is an Altena, but it is a little bit younger than 1905. And what was it used for?
Locked for you.
The Altena was manufactured by NV Haarlemsche Automobiel en Motorrijwielfabriek v/h A. van Altena, Haarlem between 1904 - 1907 and production was ca. 50 cars. Engines offered were an 8hp 2-cylinder and three 4-cylinder models of 12hp, 24hp and 40hp.
The company also built motorcycles prior to 1904.
The vehicle in question is believed to date from 1907, was probably a 12/14 model and was operated as the first private ambulance in Holland. It is pictured in Amsterdam.
