A shot in the dark: Lancia? :-\
Shooting in the dark is risky. Like in this case. You missed ;)
Bristol?
That's quite right. But I'm going to need you to be quite a bit more specific than that!
407? and points for the bristol plane?
Not a 407. And as this is AutoPuzzles.com there will be no points for identifying the plane... ;) which is a Bristol.
My first thought was- maybe the lanica- ness comes from a Pininfarina design, but no: It is a bespoke type 406 with coachwork by Beutler.
Bravo! That is completely correct. Well done.
What's this, by whom, from when - for 1 point?:

perhaps a dress by Beutler?
Beutler, I think so too! The base is Bristol 406E, from 1957. Half a point?
I thought Bristol too because of the wheels, but I never knew there was a Bristol Beutler...one point each?

The solver gets the point so it's FrontMan's; nothing for only half-solving it I'm afraid.
I did think about blotting those wheels out but it would have spoiled the picture, so it ended up being far easier than I thought it would be.
Here are some pics of this lovely car:
