It is the british concept car Vauxhall XVR from 1966.

I just KNEW it!

I tried to look this one up last night. I knew I'd seen it before, and although it does a pretty good job of impersonating a Corvette concept, I didn't think that was right. So I went over all the other GM concepts I could think of - including Opel and Holden. How could I forget Vauxhall...?

I figured it might be a bit of a stumper...it's definitely the sleekest Vauxhall I've ever seen.

Good job, SeaLion!

This one is quite a mistery...I found it with no clues, except for a detail...it looks like a car I know but can't place it...I confess I post it here because I was hoping in an immediate identification from you... ;D

I have a name and a place. This name is not new for Autopuzzles...you'll understand when the name will be revealed.

What exactly do you like to know? Name of this car? (if it isn't a Vauxhall XVR)
And the place where this photo was made?  ???

Ok, that's the result of a misunderstanding.

I did not recognize the car when I post it as a puzzle and I thought yours was just an idea...
This car is indeed a Vauxhall XVR and the pic I took cames from an advertising page of a magazine.
The company named in the ad is not Vauxhall, but another one, involved in the project.
Since this company put its name in other cars already featured here, I thought it was another of those.
Now, to keep this puzzle going, could you name this company?
Locked for Allemano untill next reply.
