You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Tackitt

A question to clarify:
Her name, that is similar to that of a car brand, is, or is not the name of the car that she is most associated with?

Otto Puzzell

Her name is similar (not identical) to that of a car brand. The brand of car with which she is associated is a different one.

Tackitt

Is her name similar to an American car brand?

Tackitt

One last question and then I am through asking questions.
Was she a singer or a model?

Yes; she and the automobile brand are both long-since expired.

#37
Anna Hope Dale Biddle and the car was R. Buckminster Fuller's Dymaxion!

Otto Puzzell

No, but the answer you had typed and deleted was very close - the last name was misspelled, but it was otherwise correct.

I have spelled this name a dozen different ways and still have nothing but the original picture.
I will continue to perservere.

Otto Puzzell

I'm not sure why you're stuck on that name. Oh well...

Say, what's she smokin', Joe?

Tackitt

Is her name more similar to Lozier than Mercer?

Otto Puzzell

Somewhat.

I though my previous clue was a knockout.  :shiner:

Your clue was a knockout and I was too punchdrunk to see it coming. Sometimes you can just get too close.

We are talking socialite Brenda Frazier and her Studebaker Land Cruiser!

Oddly, it is said Ms. Frazier couldn't drive. Famous for being famous, Brenda later became a depressed recluse.

Here's a clearer shot of the ad, from happier times.
