This puzzle starts in the Pro section with a very zoomed-in look at a car.  If, in a week, no one identifies the car, I will zoom out with a new photo and move the thread to the Expert section.  If, after another weekish, no one gets it right, I will post another photo, further "Zoomed Out" and I will move it to the Rookie section.

It looks like bonnet vents and an intake grill - more horizontally positioned than vertically?

I hope the vehicle is not too exotic...

Let's try another angle...which may give it away...but what the hell, huh?

How about an intake grill for engine intake or brake cooling and, at the top of the photo, louvers for engine heat ventilation or perhaps fender/tire vents as one might find on a pre-2012 LMS car like an Audi R15 or 18?

Edit: looks like Wendax and I were thinking along the same lines.
