This is an against the grain type of puzzle that I hope catches on. These puzzles start in the Pro section with a very Zoomed in look at a car. If, in a weekish, no one gets it right, I will "Zoom Out" with a new photo and move the thread to the Expert section. If, after another weekish, no one gets it right, I will post another photo, further "Zoomed Out" and I will move it to the Rookie section.
Hope everyone understands how these "Zoom Out" puzzles work and I hope you guys start posting them right away.
Now, onto business:
Name that car!

Neat concept! :)
Looks like a GM product - a Pontiac of some sort?

Yep.

Perhaps a Trans Am?

Perhaps a Trans Am?
Perhaps........

Do you need a model year?

Do you need a model year?
Not exactly. This is a famous car. I chose it to demonstrate the veracity of the Zoomed Out puzzle concept. It is obvious you are the likely winner.........
Name that car...

Burt Reynolds' 1978 Trans Am in the movie "Smokey and the Bandit"?
-
I will name it "1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Special Edition", named "Bandit", from the motion picture Smokey and the Bandit.
-
And both of you get a point.
Now start running strong with this type of puzzle concept while I work on coming up with another for you shortly.
-
And both of you get a point.
Thank you, sir.
