Who knows the company that is responsible for this 1980´s tuning apocalypse?

Is it one of Willy Koenig's children?
That would be too easy... ;)
Hans Heyer 350 SL.
No, sorry.
Gemballa?
Strosek also liked to decorate various cars with fake testarossa strakes.
Both Gemballa and Strosek would be faaar too easy... ;D
Did you scan that photo from a book or magazine Mr.Grob? ???
Obviously yes.
But why did you ask?
This information will not help you.. ;)
I asked because quite a few of the puzzles on this forum are sourced from old magazines and reference books, and If you don't own or have access to the material it tends to be a blind alley trying to find the info on the interweb for those puzzles (unless you get lucky) :)
I´ve got to admit, that many of my puzzles are scans.
The other thing is that the possibility of cheating is much easier with using web-based material, of course. ;)
I try to find photos of cars that are only mentioned in a text somewhere in the internet, but this is also not too easy... :-\
So is there any info about this car on the internet? ???
Not a photo of this specific Mercedes SL, but many others, they have customized.

Vestatec?
No.
Leinwather & Blazek?
You see me rather speechless - YES!
1062 points and counting... :D
The Recklinghausen licence plate was a big help! :D
:bag:
I really forgot to photoshop this detail...
Now I must say yu were a lucky guy with getting that point... :D
I think it is Leinwather, not Leinwarther. At least, it written that way in the 1987 auto katalog.
Right. I´ve mistyped it. Thank you.
My hats off to Wendax.
Even though I now know who made the car I still cant find out anything about it. :(
