Identify the base car and the coachbuilder and score a point.

Rookies have apparently no idea but I'm pretty sure Experts have.

The car seems to have driven over some iron filings. Fiat 1900 ?

Fiat: Yes
1900: No

I can see now that the car is smaller than it looks - clever coachbuilding. Probably a Fiat 1100.

Yet again I've got involved in a puzzle where I am out of my depth - I know zilch about coachbuilders . Viotti ?

Indeed Fiat 1100 based.
Coachbuilder is not Viotti.
I give you another chance.  LOCKED for you.

I have had to revert to a "certain list" but it's not there. Is it an Italian coachbuilder ?

Yes it is.  Just don't look too far.

You are looking way too far.  It is so obvious that it is not even mentioned in PJ's Italian coachbuilder list.
Last chance before I unlock it again.

It may be obvious to you, but like I say, I know zilch about this sort of thing. I notice you have deleted a badge from the grille, and I've been thinking about coachbuilders who did that.

Farina ?

It is not Farina (They did no longer exist when this car was made) but because you are so close, you can try a last time before I unlock it again.

Well, must be Pininfarina.  ;D

Now, we are getting somewhere.

It is indeed a Fiat 1100 based Pininfarina creation.

Surprisingly, it is not mentioned in the Pininfarina catalogue raisonné.
I cut the car out of it's environment because only the floor would already reveal the coachbuilder (for people familiar with Pininfarina studio pics):

Unfortunately, I don't.
But what I can do is post another rather unknown (also not present in the catalogue raisonné nor als15's Fuoriserie book series) Pininfarina creation, this time on Fiat 1900 basis  :D:

Nice! thanks!

Is it just me seeing these out of proportion then?  At least 5 times as high as it is wide..

Better than that - I've driven one!
Seriously though, the picture is some 2 cbm wide but 20 cbm high and it's impossible to tell what the car looks like!

I see the picture with the correct proportion...

I do too on the computer I'm on now (at work) so it's clearly a Settings problem with my home computer.
I'll try Ultra's advice this evening.
