I reckon if you say it's not 2CV, then it's also not 2CV6, Dyane or Bijou. It looks LWB - is it based on a Merhari ?

No, not Mehari-based (nor, as you say, any of the others).

It's time to move this one up to the Pro's level, but I'm going to move the goalposts a bit.
All I really needed for the Rookies or Experts to gain a point was the car's base, but now that we've established it's Citroen-based that only leaves the question which Citroen?  I didn't ask for the name of the kit because I don't know it, but it would be far too easy for a Professional to gain a point just for giving its base so now I do need to know what kit it was.

So aside from just naming it I need proof that the answer is right, because I don't know.  But there are kit and Citroen experts here so come on guys - earn your point!

The body looks very Lomax 224 (or which there are many other derivatives like Le Patron, etc.).  Is this one based on a Citroen Visa?
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

Wendax

Or rather Ami-based?

I think you're right there, it certainly looks like the rear end of a Lomax 224.
It's actually based on an Ami 8 as Wendax correctly says so I can't stick out for you to name the base, but I will give you a point for identifying the car!

Sorry to say though Wendax I can't give a Pro a point just for the base, as I said before..
