For one point: Tell me this about the engine picture: manufacturer, and year.
Only a correct, complete and specific answer will earn a point; tag-on's to other guesses will not. So, be specific and complete!

I've since found it, it's a 1909 Dixie.
-
Dixie was the name of the car. The parent company (i.e., manufacturer) wasn't Dixie.
Since you've pulled this needle from the haystack of companies building cars in 1909 (with startling alacrity), supplying the rest should be easy.
-
The parent company was the Southern Motor Car Factory, in Houston, Texas.
It isn't so hard to find when I know where to look.

I also think I need some new puzzle sources ;D
