It is not a Lindcar and not from Berlin.

But I can say that it was produced by one of the better known companies... ;)

Unbelievable! My huge respect!

BTW: is it all in your head or do you have to search your books for puzzles like these? (Lipsia, Freia etc etc)

I recognized the Freia, because I knew that this very car, an East German survivor, was pictured in a book of mine. And I knew that I had seen the Lipsia photo in the same book. I was quite sure about the RWN without looking, but I confirmed it by consulting the Metternich. I knew I had seen the high rise VW in one book about special bodied VWs. The Apollo was a lucky find, as this very picture is shown in another book I often use when looking for prewar German small scale manufacturers. No witchcraft involved.  ;)

This picture, taken at the 1925 Hainbergrennen in Göttingen, shows an Apollo, most probably a 4/14 PS.

I had the rear view in my "unidentified" files for quite a while, but as I came across a front view of the same car, I now know that these two pictures also show the Apollo 4/14 PS Sport-Zweisitzer, unfortunately watermarked.
