I found this one to be quite interesting.
About the puzzle picture: it is an artist's illustration for the magazine showing how a proposed sportscar might look like, when built. It is not an official rendering released by the company (I think there was no images released when the humble announcement was made).
Task for a point: tell me the correct name of the company behind this project, correct name of the car and year it was built.
I hope this one is not that easy, so open for all!

The name I have is the last name of the artist or the name of the company who did it. This can be Mark Stehrenberger's - I don't know.
Anyhow, I don't think this will help.
Is it a magazine's speculative rendering for the car that was to become the new AC Ace (c.2006/07), to be built in Wales, and based around a Smart Roadster?

No. It is not AC.
The car has been built in a single prototype example, but it has never been put into production.
In that case, could it be the planned (but stillborn) revival of the Healey brand with a new Big Healey (Warkwick), c.2008?

Not a revival project.
It is just a one-off prototype.

See above. Not AC. Not any well known company.
However, the finished car has already been posted as a puzzle here.
Does anyone remember this puzzle?
