Perfect answer, there is nothing I can add to that except that I hope this bodywork is preserved and fitted to a chassis after the inevitable 'restoration' of this car with a replica F&F body etc..

I think this was quite a hard one as I couldn't find any information about it on the net, Only that picture, so well done!

This should be easy... for a point, please tell me what car this is and who built the bodywork

Well I thought it would be easy as it was covered in a very well-known magazine a few years ago, but when I searched for info on the web I realised how little there has been written about it! Unless you have that magazine and you know where to look I guess you'd have no chance of solving it...

Finally found the car, the pic says it's a Delahaye 135MS Berlinette from 1948. I do have some doubts about the year though... would be nice to see a full pic of the car

SACO

Yes, Delahaye 135 MS 1948
I don't know the story of the car !
A pic of the car before restoration :

I'm sure we had that one before, but I can't find it.

Any idea about the coach builder ? Or is it rebodied ?

I was pretty sure we'd had it too but couldn't find it.
I have now and it answers mekubb's question too!

Have therefore merged it.
