Post by: barrett on March 31, 2013, 09:59:14 AM
I'm unsure of the marque/ model of this car, I just know the coachbuilder and the approximate date. Give me those details and you'll get a point, and another point if you can prove the mechanical base

The coachbuilder is from Western Europe, but it's not D'Ieteren. I don't think the base car is American but I'm not really sure.

Assuming a British coachbuilder, I'll try: Salmons and Sons, about 1925?

It looks like a Fiat 525; is it from Van Vooren?

The coachbuilder isn't British, nor is it Van Vooren

Not Thietart, but it is French. 1925 would be about the right time I think

I think a response is even way-er overdue!

I'm moving this one to the Pro's for a week to see if they can solve it; if not it will be moved to the Black Hole.

The coachbuilder for this approximately 1925 car is Carrossier Louis Galle of Boulogne sur Seine, France.

If you can send me some proof you're right I'll give you a point and move this to Solved.

I'm currently traveling, and won't be back to my primary computer, where the link is located, until Friday 10/11.  Do you want me to PM the link, or just post it here?

This one is probably solved, although I haven't been able to verify it.
I've given 4popoid a point and moved it to Solved, but if someone can prove it's not right I can reverse it all and put it back into the Pros.
