Is this the original Pygmee Formule France car built by Marius Dal Bo in 1965 ?

Not a Pygmee. This make has featured a handful of times on AP before

I'm moving this one to the Pro's for a week to see if they can solve it; if not it will be consigned to the Black Hole..

It's a Fournier-Mercadier powered by a tuned Renault R8 motor. It was the forerunner to the successful Formule France category.

(PS thanks Carnut. You've done sterling work sorting out that mess. The forum has been tidied-up no end)

(PPS the puzzle photo comes from the maker's advertising material - on the ad it's called "Monoplace Aral")
