The BEF was built by the Berliner Electromobil- und Akkumulatorenfabrik Fiedler & Co and was designed by Victor Harhorn who founded Geha later on (http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=16432.0). The pictured van is the later version of the BEF with steering wheel, built between 1914 and 1922.
