For a point, what is the make, model and who is the coach builder of this car?
Spanish? :o
No, sorry, not Spanish.
Mercedes Skiff by Labourdette
It's a Labourdette body, but not a Mercedes. LOCKED for Jean-Marie H for 2 attempts to find the make and model.
Panhard Levassor
No, sorry.
Unlocked.
Up a level.
It appears to be LHD - is it German?
Not German.
Labourdette Rochet-Schneider 20/30 CV Skiff
Sorry, not a Rochet.
Hispano Suiza?
Not a Hispano.
The "French" clue helped - I was baffled by the artillery wheels. It's a Voisin C1, bodied of course by Labourdette.
(Blimey, that was a bit of luck. The "French" clue I referred to actually related to a different one of your puzzles. I got lucky, but the car is pictured on a certain site which concerns itself with Voisin cars.)

I hate to say this, but it isn't a Voisin. I'll have to have a look at this car on "that site".
If Nicanary wouldn't be right, this could be a Renault double Decker Skiff Torpedo by Labourdette, 1924
Nope, not a Renault.

I've just double -checked, and I'm very embarassed. Of course it's not a Voisin, because the one I found had wire wheels. Doh!
Seen one Labourdette skiff, you've seen them all..............
You had me worried there, I thought my source had identified the wrong make of car.
Perhaps the "French clue" is not correct....could it be a Fiat 519 torpedo skiff?
QuotePerhaps the "French clue" is not correct....could it be a Fiat 519 torpedo skiff?
It's a French made car.
Turcat & Mery?
QuoteTurcat & Mery?
No, sorry.
The last French marque dressed by Labourdette with a skiff body that I know is Peugeot, so that's my guess even if I don't recognise the radiator's profile.
Not a Peugeot.
I'm curious to know, is the skiff body on a 20's Peugeot, or are you referring to the Type 150? because I'd like to see a photo of a 20's Peugeot version.
Lorraine-Dietrich Double Phaeton Skiff by Labourdette?
Sizaire Frères ?
QuoteLorraine-Dietrich Double Phaeton Skiff by Labourdette?
No, sorry.
QuoteSizaire Frères ?
Not that either.
I had already ruled out Sizaire Freres, but how about Sizaire Berwick?
No, sorry.
It's from a very famous French company.
Mercedes
Panhard et Levassor
Rochet-Schneider
Hispano Suiza
Voisin
Renault
Fiat
Turcat & Mery
Peugeot
Lorraine-Dietrich
Sizaire Frères
Sizaire Berwick
Yes the Peugeot I was talking about is the type 150, but I though it was possible that Labourdette made another one; for the same reason I guess Delage, even if the only Skiff Delage I know is different.
I see, I thought it may have been a Type 156, which there are limited photos of. I understand that Type 150 with the skiff body is insured for some ridiculous figure, in the low millions, 2.5, I think.
Delahaye Double Phaeton Skiff by Labourdette?
QuoteDelahaye Double Phaeton Skiff by Labourdette?
No, not a Delahaye.

None of those.
Farman ?
I think SACO may be correct, but just in case he isn't: Unic?

Well done, yes it's a Farman. I originally asked for the model as well, but I'm not 100% sure of this now. I think it's a 1921 or early 1922 A6A, but identifying the make is enough for the point. There is supposed to be a Farman book coming out next year, this car might be in it and have these details.
