This one did not wear the Adler badge...

grobmotorix

But it was an Adler in some way...

No Wanderer.

LOCKED for nicanary!

QuoteAdler built under licence ? Imperia ?

The first point is near.

Which name/designation did the basis car have?

nicanary

It looks too big to be a Trumpf-based car. I think it's an Imperia Jupiter TA11.

I have no idea about the coachbuilder. I thought I would help other puzzlers because they did not understand your big clue ! You can unlock it if you need the coachbuilder.

I only have it as "Imperia TA Coupé" and don´t have a model number.

So this is your point.

Maybe someone can prove who has made this unusual coupé bodywork.

I can only submit this photo as evidence that Uhlik may have been the body builder of the quiz car.  A 1932 Streamline sedan that has about 85% of the same general styling characteristics.

I have ordered a book on the history of Uhlik from CZ, also a book on Sodomka, but it will take some time to get it/them.

To be honest, I do not believe it is a czech body.

But it would be fine if you could prove me wrong!

Although I have no proof, I think the carbody might also be a Conrardy creation.
Imperia worked already with Conrardy ( see: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=23649.0 ) and if I remember it correctly, the customer was also from Luxembourg.

I think I have a rear view of this car.  I'll post it this evening.

Correct model designation is apparently TA 9.
Here it is:

So it was based on the 1645cc Trumpf after all. I was wrong with my guess that it was a larger car. Sorry.

So a very well deserved additional point goes to 75america!
