Go ahead Craig. You found it. Well done mate - I found that image on several sites but none of them said where it was, and I knew my guesses at large cities were way off. I'll get you back when the Ashes start !

To solve the puzzle, it's Francis Birtles in his 14hp Bean car, name "Sundowner', in the last stages of his London to Melbourne drive. The photo was taken in Blackall, Queensland on the July 2nd 1928. He finished his drive in Melbourne on July 25th.

Nicanary, considering the way we're playing at the moment, I think you'll do well.

Thanks Otto. Very generous of you. The more I look at his photo, the more he looks like one of those guys who live in your street, and you tell the kids not to play near his house. Too many axes hanging on the shed walls.
