Almost right, but the base car is not a Vespa but a ....
LOCKED for you
Also in this point are different informations all gives the Piaggio origin. The Baron Von Thyssen says that the basic components are from the "Piaggio-Vespa Motorroller", alternatively Walter Zeichner in his book "Kleinwagen Intenational" gives as base the "Piaggio-Kleinsferwagen Ape". When I've stated Vespa was not really meaning scooter but the Ape transporter, that is more like.

Yes the car is based on the Piaggio Ape.
One point for you! ;)
But the question now is: which Romanazzi? The company based in Bari or the Romanazzi-ICAR based in Rome?
According to Zeichner it is the Bari-based company.
And the picture background seems to be the Castello di Bari. ;)
