Ford Model T with Hassler shock absorbers?
That's what it is. Do you own a T?

No, don't own a T (or anything vintage at the moment) but the axle is unmistakable. I check these cars out at the shows whenever I can, for little unusual features and accessories like this puzzle's. The best to me are the speedsters, with their wide variety of bodies and vintage speed equipment.
Can you tell me what the man on the left is trying to sell to the man on the right? A point if you will.
Why, it's one of them new-fangled wheels with demountable rims, so easy to change a flat tire, just undo a few little bolts, slide off the flat, put on the spare, remount the rim and Bob's your uncle, you're back on your journey! It's a miracle I tells ya! :D
Or maybe something else.... ???
Not that...he had sold it out last week
;D
Some sort of wheel lock anti/theft device??
Bill
good guess but not.
Hassler shock absorber salesman
That's right Robbie...another point for you and two pictures more added to the original puzzle picture.
