You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

It was my fault for including 'Simca'.  Once you include an extraneous word you won't get the result however you do it.  I should have just put 'Caron' and I would have got it, but I'm a slow learner..!

Not as slow as me - the king of the reposters. One day, one day.......
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

What I should do is follow my own advice!
The advice I have given to puzzlers who ask is to give the absolute minimum number of words and preferably one which could be unique to that puzzle..

For instance if it's a Ford Fabmobile Super-Dooper Mk XII you're looking for, don't even include 'Ford' or anything other than just 'Fabmobile'.  That way it will come up with just one result (or 2 if it's been re-posted!!)

There's nothing wrong with the Search facility at all in my opinion; it's down to what you search for and how the facility is used...

Well, there is at least one fault regarding the full text search. If the topic is very long, the search engine won't find words that are at the end of the topic. For example, try to search "Citeria". It won't show you my Back to the egg - Brütsch puzzle as a hit, because Citeria is mentioned in reply #177.

I often think about how many time it would take to merge all still un-merged topics....  :-\
That time will arrive.... ;)
