I could have done with that thing about a month ago to clear my drive. ;D

I think its possibly 1942 Oshkosh W709 FWD with a Sicard Snowblower attachment.

ValkyrieGT

No sorry it is not an Oshkosh.

WayneB

Is it called an FWD (as name of manufacturer) in your info?

ValkyrieGT

No sorry. Mfg. of vehicle starts with letter S. Model of vehicle starts with letter S.

Seems everyone who has ever taken a photo of that abandonned snowblower in the mountains of Montanna has called it a different name.

Lets try this one, Sicard Senior from 1955

There is a great photo of an brand new 1948 identical unit to that in which the Oshkosh badge is clearly visible on the radiator , so the truck must be an Oshkosh.

Point for WayneB. :)

There is a good chance, that Sicard is the name of the plow mechanism, not the name of the truck
