May I add my  :applause: :applause: as well.

Even after hours of research, I could not come up with the answer, and, I still cannot find that vehicle on the Internet, nor in my reference books/materiel.

Good Job Hiawatha.

The reason is that the image shown can only be found as part of a Maserati ad.  I suspect that this Maserati truck was not particularly successful.

Thank you,I was really keen at answering the quiz as I remembered having seen the little truck somewhere before. It took me time as I had to go through my italian magazines and started from 1948. It was powered by a little two-stroke engine available in two versions: 400cc. and 550cc. I doubt it went into full scale production.

I have interesting info about this little truck..The one pictured is the prototype shown at the Torino Show in 1951 and was bodied by Carrozzeria Autodromo in Modena. Production version had slightly different cabin and was bodied by Castagna. Only 50 produced in total all with the 550 cc. engine.
