Who knows this car?
giaur?
It is not even italian...
I think it is time to move this up.
British ?
No.
French?
No.
German then?
No.
From somewhere in Europe?
go east ;)
Soviet?
Not this far east...
East of Germany but not as far as the USSR ???
Czechoslovakia?
Exactly...
Skoda ?
Yes.
Locked for you!
Give me the correct ccm of the engine and a reasonable year and the point will be yours.
Can't find anything on this car, so I guess 1100 cc and from 1948
Well it is almost the same data I have.
Skoda 1100 Special, 1948 is a double bit too early, so it is from the year...??
Looking at the Skoda 1100 Sport from 1949 I reckoned this one should have been from an earlier date, but apparently it isn't. So shouldn't be later than 1952 ?
Agreed.
I have this from a 1951 book without an exact date given there.
I think this should be your point now!
If anyone knows more, please inform us here - it would be worth an additional point.
In 1951 Vaclav Bobek raced in GDR a couple of times with a Skoda powered car, race number 66. The writing on the car (at least its very lower part) may well be 66 if you take a close look. If it will appear to be what I wrote here, that would make it a Czech car, probably even Skoda works car, since Vaclav Bobek was racing for them, if I recall correctly.
Well, I only know that it has been raced at Hohenstein-Ernstthal and it was most probably a czech car with a czech driver, so you may be right.
If anyone finds a photo of the Bobek Skoda and it will prove right, this is your point.
Car is ŠKODA Tudor 1100 Supersport /type 966/ - 1950 - 1952.
* Skoda 1100 Sport /1949/ - made 2 cars. For GP ČSSR Brno
1., for Jaroslav Netušil - 37 kW
2., for Vaclav Bobek + compressor ROOTS
also La Mans / 1950 / both cars without a compressor
* Škoda 1100 Supersport - made 3 cars / uncovered wheels , also engines 1200ccm and 1500ccm.

Now, Milos, this is the most perfect answer to my question!
So it is proven, that it is not the Bobek car with the closed body, but the monoposto formula racer Skoda 1100 Supersport.
Ths is an additional point for you!
wow
Wow indeed. I thought this car was different one from 966 Supersport :o
BTW, it was also a two-seater, I believe? :)
I think this could be the same car:
Another one:
