No it was different. A certain company did the design job for Kikkoman. The soy sauce bottle gained international design fame and is now part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in NY.

The team/studio that designed that bottle is also responsible for the design of this urban vehicle. I don't know if there's any source which mentions this particular car, but for sure the studio is mentioned on various sites.

That's right though they named it actually ZERO not simply '0'.  ;D
The final mock-up was completed in 1975 not 1973, but as I didn't ask for the year the point is yours anyway.
