Not designed by Porsche. I guess it dates from the late 1960s early 1970s. I have not an exact year.

I only know the designer and what it was supposed to be.

No. It's easier, though it's hard to see from the look of this car...
BTW: I've purchased the Lepoix book just a month ago for € 49,- wihich I felt was a good price. Now you get it on Amazon.de for € 25,- only.. >:(

Amongst many others L.L. Lepoix was also invited to find an innovative new design/layout for the Beetle resp. a possible Beetle* successor. This was one of the few that made it to a 1:1 scale stage.
*The name 'Golf' was launched much later.
