Quite easy I reckon. ;)
What's the exact name of this pretty car?
Who made it and when?

Not Touring, not Villa d'Este.

Yes that's right, though we have a particular car here with a specific additional name... just note the front design..
LOCKED for mekubb!
I think you are looking for Lido di Venezia as additional name

There were a real car with that paint in 1950... there is a picture on
Auto Italiana (but I don't remeber where exactly...)

Is it this car you have in mind?
It doesn't have the "Lido di Venezia" grille though.

Surely that car is this one (co-incidentally on the same page of the Solved section right now!):

No, not this one... this is tha Cabi-Cattaneo Alfa... the car I have in mind as the same grille of the Lido di Venezia and the same (or a similar, it's a B&W picture) color scheme of the model posted by ropat53...
Sorry I hate insisting but the name is Supergioiello you missed the second i
And about the name... are you sure about "Lido di Venezia"?? The name of this car shuold be only "Supergioiello"... maybe Lido di Venezia is the event where the car showed up, the Concorso d'Eleganza del Lido di Venezia, held on september 1950...

Second that!
No I'm not 100% sure.
I'm only as sure as in most of those cases where you havy to rely on internet sources.
I was thinking that according to the different grillle it does wear this special name 'Lido di Venezia'.
If you can prove me wrong I instantly change the name.
(calling 75america!)

I already read your first objection!
1. this is not a game where the answers always come as quick as in telephone calls.
2. Unfortunately I couldn't edit the title of the topic since the header was too long.
Am waiting for the 'final' solution of this puzzle before I change the header.

I'm now reading some period magazines (for the Alfa fuoriserie book http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=24686.0 ) and in 1950 and 1951 this car appeared in some events, in dark or with the two-color paint. I've not focused my research on the Alfa 2500, so maybe I lost something, but I don't think I have seen the name "Lido di Venezia" for this car.
Surely the car with the dark roof and with side vents was at 1951 Concorso di Viareggio and was called "Supergioiello" only...
This will help :
Perhaps the puzzle car actually ?
