A shot in the dark: Heim 8/40 PS from 1926?
Must be your lucky day... what a shot! :o
It's indeed a Heim but not the one you've mentioned. You're a little off with the year, too.
LOCKED for Wendax!
;D
Heim just built cars from 1920 to 1926, the 8/40 PS six was the only type from 1923 to 1926. That leaves the 6/20 or 8/30 PS with four-cylinder engines. So let's try 6/20 PS from 1922.

According to my source it's not one of those. The puzzle car was apparently built in very few numbers.
Try one more time!
David Burgess Wise mentions a rare sports version with a six-cylinder 1960 cc engine, built from 1925 to 1926. That would fit the appearance of the puzzle car. Alas, I didn't find a name for it, so I have to guess. The displacement would make it probably a 8 Steuer-PS car, the sports version would do fine with 10 additional hp (or even 15?). How about a Heim 8/50 PS Sport?

Close, only a little step to the right answer..
The year is correct for the later model, though first of the series were shown one year earlier already.
Apparently a book on German cars you don't already have.. ;)
8/55 PS?
No.
Is 8/... PS the pattern for the answer?

Looks like it. I have a book about inventions from Mannheim concerning the automobile and mobility, but it is so awfully bad, Heim is just mentioned twice without further details. :yuck:
But you are looking for something like ../.. PS?

Yes
Must have had a different displacement then... I'll try 10/50 PS.
vorne zu viel hinten zu wenig...
Heim 9/55 PS Sport?
vorne stimmt's, hinten immer noch zu wenig...
Heim 9/60 PS Sport

Heim 9/60 PS Sport
Yes 9/60 is correct, but I've to tease you a little more. The name isn't fully correct. It's not only 'Sport'.
'Heim-Sportwagen' was the name of the 1926 car, but it's not
very far from that..
Heim-xxxxSportxxxx (don't count the X')
Touren-Sport-Zweisitzer?

Touren-Sport-Zweisitzer?
you're almost there. Heim-Tourensportxxxxx (think simple!)
Heim 9/60 PS Touren-Sportwagen
Yes. Another point for you!
At least you had a little work to do this time.
;D
.. and learned something new again.
