Does the side-mounted engine drive a blower (supercharger) for an engine under the hood (bonnet)?

No, it was fitted with that side-mounted engine only.

Did it race on board tracks?

My source doesn't report that and I don't think so. I guess it never raced at all, though I'm not sure.

Was it conceived for circle or oval racing?

While searching for the car I recognized that it still exists. It's described as a self-built racing car, but I don't know nothing about races on which this car has participated.

I've found a pic which shows this car on a race track. It appears it was only a promotional event, though. Remarkably there was another (already solved) mystery car on that event, too.
