Triumph TR7 based.
Very closely related to a Triumph TR7! Locked to you until your next reply.
I dont really have a good answer, but I am guessing perhaps at a restyle by an Italian design house, possibly Michelotti who I know did some other TR7 facelift proposals
Your Michelotti guess is a good one as this is his work. So, this remains locked to you WayneB as you are now getting close to the final answer.
Is it the MG "Boxer" TR7 facelift exercise that Michelotti did in 1979 ?
It was a proposed MGB replacement , a restyled TR7 badged as an MG.
It does date from 1979, and it is by Michelotti, but it is not the unfortunate MG 'Boxer' project. Still locked to you.
It must be part of the TR7 "Broadside" project then I guess?
Well done WayneB, you got there in the end, as this is the Michelotti-designed Triumph Broadside prototype from 1979. Another point to you.
I have seen the actual drivable Broadside TR7 at Gayden, but not this version of it.
Do you have any more images of the styling mock up from different angles?
Thanks,
Wayne
