For a point name the make/constructor, what it was based on and the year (apologies for the poor image)

Trident Badge(?) Central seat. Is it a conversion of a Maserati A6GCM?
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

It looks like a Trident badge but I don't have a clearer picture.
Anyway there is no Maserati connection....

Any BMW 328 in there?

No BMW connection and no German connection either.
Likewise there is no Soviet/East Bloc involvement.

The base car is from from one country but it was put together and raced in another.....

Came across this car by accident. It is a Havas, built by Hans van As from The Netherlands and had a Simca-Gordini engine (later a Porsche engine). The car was built around 1958-1959.

Yes, that's the car!
Hans van As also built a later car that was also featured on this site.
One point for you.

Sorry, you cant give the point, it is not a Havas Gordini, it is just a Havas with Porsche engine at that time, build in 1956, I am the owner of this car.....

Thanks and welcome to AutoPuzzles matramurena.
He earned his point of course by giving the information that was available at the time..
But you say it always had a Porsche engine, never a Gordini?
Interests in life:  Cars, cars, cars - oh and ..er..cars

matramurena

At first it had an 1100cc Simca 8 engine, with Simca 8 chassis and suspension. Build around a tubular frame for the body.

Later (the seccond season) the car was modified as seen on the picture, and a Porsche engine was installed.

In the last season the car was heavily modified and the Simca engine was reinstalled.

The people in The Netherlands were poor at that time, they raced with what they had available......

Probably in 1960 the car was sold and it's racing life was over, it became a road car....
