This imposing tourer requires the identification of the make, model, year and coachbuilder for a point.

Métallurgique is correct but it is a few years older than 1926 and the coachbuilder isn't VdP....

No it's not by Van den Plas and the model is not a 12/40hp and it's a tourer, not a saloon.
The year is slightly out also......

I've finally managed to find a Belgian coachbuilder with a six letter name (lots of fives and sevens, but no sixes).  I only have a name from a blog, with no other information, but I will give it a shot.  How about: 1923 Metallurgique 26 hp all weather tourer by Blavie?

Not Blavie.....
The coachbuilder is not obscure and also bodied other makes in the 1920s
