Turning now to a single-seater racing car - identify the name, year and series this car would have competed in.
Experts?
Panhard Monomill?
DB?
about 1952?
competing in the French 750cc series?
It does look very much as if it's air-cooled FWD, and the photo looks very early-50s. I'm pretty sure it's Panhard -powered and taking part in the short-lived Monomill series which was for 850cc cars.
The OP hasn't replied to two guesses. Was it a one-off?
It is Panhard-based and it did compete in the 1950 but not in the early part of that decade.
I don't know if it was a 'one-off' but it's possible that others were built.
Was it entered in Formula Junior in,say, 1959?

Yes, it's a Panhard-based Formula Junior of 1959 but it has a name......
Julien-Panhard driven by Henri Julien. Monaco FJ race, 1959.
