Armstrong-Siddeley 14hp is correct but you're one year out with the date......
The coachwork is not by Burlington though.

I'll go a year earlier, 1924, and guess it has Jarvis coachwork.

You've gone the wrong way with the year Craig.
Not by Jarvis (it's an even shorter name)

I had a 50% chance of getting right, -so it must be a 1926.

Is it a 5 letter name?

I'm at a loss, I can't find a coach builder that fits the clues. You could unlock this in the meantime, but I'll also keep looking.

I don't think that it has been established that the coachbuilder is British.  If the coachbuilder isn't British, I will take a guess that #1097 is: 1926 Armstrong Siddeley 14hp with a body by Gygax.

I can only think of one five letter British coachworks that is close to G.  So: 1926 Armstrong Siddeley 14hp with a body by Hardy.

Not Hardy but it does begin with an 'H'

One would not think that it would be that difficult to locate a British coachbuilder with a name beginning with "H", and having a total of five letters.  Well it isn't proving out that way.  After multiple hours of searching, I came across only one possibility, and not a very good one at that (the founder died in the 19th century!).  In desperation I'll say: 1926 Armstrong Siddeley 14hp with a body by Hines.
