A Swedish connection ? Hmmm... I don't know any particular Swedish designers, so how about a proposal for a Saab ?

Saab is the Swedish involvement..

I think this might be the proposed Australian Lightburn-Saab Sports, designed by Gordon Bedson, from about 1960.  I don't think that it ever got beyond the prototype stage.

That's right, it is.
The car as proposed here was never built, but a Lightburn-Saab was built and believe me they should have stuck to the original:

This has been a puzzle of mine before but without the information that it was done by Gordon Bedson; I've therefore merged it and added his name to the title.
