Time to see what the Pro's know.
Here's a front view if it helps.
Note the prefessionalism of the photography, with that picturesque backdrop!

I guess it's home-made?
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Yes it is!
One of the better ones by the looks of it..
I don't know who built it, but I know its name and where it's from, so that's what I need.

You've found the car.
But what is it called?
Locked for you for 24 hours to see if you can find its name.

I don't know the name of this car. Maybe, this is a Scorpion (Скорпион) - I judge by the emblem.
My images dates from 2008-2011 from Rostov-na-Donu (Ростов-на-Дону) by Aleksey Yava (Алексей Ява). He was buying this car after the death of the author in Volgodonsk.

Yes, it's currently registered to an owner in Rostov, but it's not called a Scorpion.
Its name is very clearly readable in the my photos!  I'll accept it in Cyrillic or an English translation!

I know it's not written in our rules, but I don't think that posting this car in a different forum and ask there for ID to get the point here matches with the spirit of this place.

Quite so - well spotted PJ!
Perhaps whoever it was would kindly remove their questions..?

Playing devil's advocate here: How is asking for help on a forum fundamentally different than asking one's friends?

I see a difference: the spirit that moves you.
Many times I remember some hard nuts have been proposed to other forums to see what they knew about...we sometimes receive such requests from others...but in each case nobody knows the asnwer and we look for mutual help.
In our case, the Puzzler knows the answer.

I'm not looking to start an argument. When challenged by a puzzle, one goes to those sources that may know. Those sources may be one's own hard drive and internet bookmarks, they could be real books and magazines that one owns, or reviews in a library.

I understand you point. Should we amend the rules, to prohibit the posting of current puzzles to other sites?

I don't think so as it would be hard to police.  I haven't seen it happen many times and whilst I think it's a bit of a cop-out and defeats the object by not having the fun searching for the answer at least it's better than Google Search by Image...!
