Michelotti?
I don't know who did it hence it's not part of the question!
It could be Michelotti..
I put my thumb over the front end of the drawing and noticed how much it looked like a Loewy Studebaker derivative (or maybe predecessor?) . . . which led me to the excellent Studebaker Driver's Club web site - LOTS of interesting stuff over there - and eventually to this car, which may actually have been a lead-in to the Avanti. The illustration is from the June 1962 Motor Trend, and the article simply calls it the"new fiberglass Studebaker". Looks more like a further development of the Hawk to me. I wonder if Studebaker was trying to decide which way to go - new car (the Avanti) or re-do the existing Hawk? In any case, it's a neat design. Very Italianesque, with both Ferrari and Maserati undertones.
Yes, that's it.
Here's an enlarged picture; there is a signature on it but I still can't read it!
It's too long for 'Loewy'; any ideas anybody?
