Lotus MKVIII 1953-1955, originally about 12 built. The car was originally ordered by James Dean, who died before taking delivery. The car was purchased by John Timanus, who changed the bodywork & it was called a Lotus MK X "Manx". The car was sold to a unscrupulous person, who disassembled the car & sold various pieces of the car to different people. That person was kicked out of the Historic Lotus Registry.
