Drews body?

Yes!
And now that it's reached the Pro's I think I should move the goalposts slightly and also ask where the customer for this car was located?

Drews VW Sport Cabriolet.
(I was looking for Drews cars before Wendax's guess...and its site is quite informative)

EDIT: I took the time to re-read your request and that info seems to be not there!

ropat53

Volkswagen Sport Cabriolet by Drews and the car went to a customer in Sweden.

OK, I've given a point both to PJ (since he knew what it was but I'd been a bit underhand and moved the goalposts!) and to ropat53 for getting the new question right.

Thank you for the point, but shouldn't Wendax get a point, he was the first to answer it was Drews?

Wendax

I would think so.

Nothing against making puzzles harder at pro level, but it would be better if either that alteration is known right from the start or at least from the time when it is moved to pro level.

Yes, I agree.
To be honest I'd overlooked that the chassis had already been identified as a VW, otherwise I would have locked it for Wendax.  Hence I have also given him a point!

Wendax

It was built in 1951 for Charles Bertil Dymling, sales manager of Scania.
