This took way too much time as I was hung up on a 1950/51 Oldsmobile as the donor car. I must have looked at a hundred photos of the "Polynesian" Olds trying to find this puzzle car.

I finally gave up on the Oldsmobile connection and tried Ford.

Anyway, it is a 1951 Ford named X-51 built by Ron Courtney perhaps around 1958.
I do not know if it is still about.
Cheers

That's it!
Actually it took him about 3 years to build, from 1954 to 1956..
Well done!
