OK. The site the puzzle picture came from called it 1951, but I think you are right and it dates from 1947.

In this picture, taken at the Concorso d'Eleganza di Roma, Pincio, 1950, the car shows a plate from the end of April 1949.

Does that mean 1947 is wrong?  Or is it just tha tthe car was not registered for 2 years?
