Am I correct in assuming that was once a Reliant Supervan? :o

A Reliant 3-wheeler, yes, but I think a Robin rather than a Supervan..
Its a Regal or a Supervan judging it from its windscreen, the Robins was flatter.

I won't argue!
I'm certainly not an expert on Reliants, although I do love the original Scimitar Coupé...
Apparently this ugly little cuss did start out as a Reliant Robin, but took some horrible turns along the way. Being far from an expert on things three-wheeled, I searched the web and found 3-wheelers.com, where eventually this car turned up. Here's the story: It's a Derrick Smith photo of what used to be a Reliant Robin. Derrick is an ex-Reliant employee, who says the photo was taken in 1983 when he saw the car on a family day out. It is believed that the engine has been replaced with a large VW one and it used to tear up and down the streets of Atherstone and Tamworth.
If the car has its own name, that wasn't mentioned . . . and it kind of hurts my eyes to look at it in order to search any further.
An appropriate car for the day, though . . . Happy Halloween!
I understood it to have started life as a Robin too!
But for the point I need the car's name and the name of the offender who did this to the poor little unsuspecting Robin...!
Oddly I find this little beasty intriquing! I will now try to find out more.
Still need the car's name and the perpetrator of the deed, so let's see what the Pro's can come up with...
I have it as VW 1600 Odyssey by Steve McHugh 1980 UK
