It does, but it's nothing to do with either Tjaarda or Ghia AFAIK.

Got hooked on this one because of that great rendering technique which I found out was done by the master, Giugiaro at Ital Design in 1971.
That's the reason it looks German (Audi 100/VW Scirocco) , Japanese (Isuzu 117 Coupe),and Italian (Ghia).
I can even see some William Towns Aston Martin DBS in it.
The design proposal was done by Giugiaro for Skoda in Czechoslovakia, its labeled as a 2000 GT and was going to be based on the 720 platform.
The finished car looked terrible BTW. :'(

Yes. I don't know how you managed to dig that one out though without knowing it was a Skoda, as this car doesn't seem to feature anywhere that's anything to do with Giugiaro or any other designer, just on Skoda sites!
It certainly looked good on paper; some references say it remained only on paper but some say a car was made; it can't have survived..
Here the unmodified front view:

I wasn't previously familiar with Giugiaro's work for Skoda as it isn't listed in any of the books I have on his automotive design work.
The vital clue needed to solve this puzzle was actually found on his Wikipedia page, it lists the car there.
Only took me about 8 hours to find it, after going down hundreds of blind alleys.
If only I was clever enough to be able to solve some of the other puzzles I am currently participating in.

I've always been a particular fan of Il Maestro Giugiaro, ever since I clapped eyes on his Gordon GT (forerunner of the Gordon-Keeble) and similar Alfa Giulia Sprint GT and just had to find out who was the genius behind these cars. Although I do think his golden era was the 1960s when he used his unprecedented creativity to make a name for himself, leading to his unbelievable success in being involved in just so many cars, many unacknowledged. Then he seemed to lose interest in artistic creativity for the sake of it and concentrated his efforts on serious designs of production cars, passing the mantle over to designers like Gandini and Fioravanti.
This is, however, one design of his I was totally unaware of! I hope there are more to find..

Very interisting! I love how they did those renderings back then!
Italdesign's head GG did many designs for Skoda later also '720' labelled, already featured here in many puzzles.
It vaguely follows the design vocabulary he also did for the Isuzu Bellett.
