This is Autopuzzles - if you don't know what cars these are, kindly resign your membership. For one point, I need the names of the drivers and the name of the place where this photo was taken. For an extra point, what was the EXACT manufacturers' name for the colour they were painted. I'm serious.

Ah yes, but will it still be here when I'm allowed to say I know?

Now there's the rub, Allan. It's tough being a Pro. Some of the Experts are pretty good, so I suspect you won't get the chance.

I found the picture stating this to be the first outing of the 3 Ecurie Ecosse Jaguar XK 120 at Drem Airport in Trennent
in 1952.Drivers left to right are Sir James Scott Douglas, Bill Dobson and Ian Stewart.
Colour of cars was Flag blue metallic, developed by Ault & Wiborg.
I couldn'd find a place called Trennent in Scotland, could the right name be Tranent?

That was very quick, and totally correct. Two points for you - I thought the famous colour of this team would be more difficult to find. I have a written history of the team, and apparently it was a colour favoured by Ian Stewart, who persuaded the team to adopt it. I have no idea where Drem Airport was situated, but you would think it was near Edinburgh, and the village of Tranent would be apt. Does anyone have further information? The test session at the airport is not mentioned in my history.
