I can say with 95% certainty that it isn't. There was another major car manufacturer involved, though.

This is actually a bulgarian student project, an 1:1 model (not driveable). Made by students at the Sofia University, and according to Automotorundsport, the Univers Concept project (from 2007) was initiated by DaimlerChrysler. The idea behind the concept, which took more than two years to engineer, was to create an appealing compact car with enough space for 4 or 5 people priced strictly between 7.500 & 8.500 EUR (9.900 – 11.100 USD).
