Correct. I have tried to find out what the engine is, but there is no info on the site. I'm guessing Chevvy Camaro but you get the point.

(PS - I love the Alvis TD/TE/TF series, they're properly engineered cars with a lot of style. It's a pity this one got made into a special. I hope it was because the body was beyond repair.)

Apparently it has a 5.7 litre Chevy engine, Muncie 4-speed box and a Hurst shifter..

But not a TC21.

Post by: tobytwirl on October 27, 2018, 01:47:53 PM: The website I found it on was evidently short on facts.It is actually built around a 1961 Alvis TD21 Series 2 chassis & powered by a 350bhp 5.7 litre small block Chevy V8 mated to a Muncie 4‑spd manual transmission.

Hence the only 2 questions I could ask were what it was based on and what powered it.. I tried to find out who built it but without success. It was probably Alvis-powered from when it was built in 1969 until 2008 when it was fitted with the V8.
