It's not easy to help with clues because our italian members will immediately link the maker to that product (one in particular) that is so famous that this brand is the 1st to came to mind when you name it...like Coke for a Cola or Webasto for roofs etc.
I'll bet everything that they all have seen those ads and will remember that car...as I said this company is quite big and their commercials were continous!
